If you have a heart for kids and a desire to learn about a new culture, plus see what Menlo Church is doing in Ethiopia then, this is the trip for you! The academic enrichment will depend on the interests of those who join the team. Some particular areas of interest might be science, basic computer skills, and conversational English.

Trip Dates: June 22 to July 3, 2017
Application Deadline: March 15, 2017
Approximate Cost: $1,300 per person, which includes all ground transportation in Ethiopia, room (guest house and hotel), meals. ** Flights from the Bay Area to Addis Ababa must be purchased by the team member and the cost is in addition to the above mentioned. A $150 nonrefundable deposit must be submitted online with your application.
Suggested Minimum Age: Adults and students age 12+ (accompanied by a parent)
Pre-trip preparation: The team will meet four times prior to the trip to plan, learn about the rich history and culture of Ethiopia, build team relationships, organize supplies, prepare
activities and prepare our hearts.
Accommodation: HOPE Roggie Guest House (5 nights) and Hotels
Food: Prepared for us on site with precautions for safe food and water
Immunizations: Tetanus, Hepatitis A, & B, Typhoid (optional) Please check with your health care provider regarding their recommendations.
