GIVING MADE EASY
Create an account for one-time or recurring gifts. Please note: it will take one to two business days for your giving history to be linked to your new account.
Envelopes for cash gifts are available for your convenience. Please feel free to drop this envelope in the basket during the offering time of the service. Checks should be made out to Menlo Church and may be placed in the basket during offering time without an envelope. You can also mail your contribution directly to the church office at:
1177 University Drive
Menlo Park, CA 94025
To give via text message, text “Give 25” (or any amount) to 650-332-6559. You’ll be prompted to complete a quick one-time setup process.
Making a gift from appreciated stock or mutual funds creates a win-win situation for both you and the church. You’ll receive a charitable income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock or mutual fund. Long-term appreciated assets have a fair market value greater than their cost, since they were generally purchased more than 12 months earlier. If you are making a gift of stock or securities, please let us know so that we can verify the transfer and properly record your donation. Call or email Patricia Shelton (email@example.com, 650–323–8605) to get Menlo Church’s Account and DTC number. Using this information you can instruct your brokerage to transfer stock to Menlo Church.

The core practice of giving in the Bible is called tithing. It means we give the first 10% of our income to God. It’s an act of trust that expresses our gratitude for what God is doing in our lives and our commitment to loving and helping others. If tithing is new to you, the tithe challenge can help you get started. If, after 90 days, you believe it’s not sustainable, we will give you your money back.

The best way to support Menlo Church is by making a contribution to the general offering (an unrestricted gift). This allows us to direct the money to where it is needed most.
