Life Group Communities
These groups meet on our church campus, either during the school year or year-round. They all incorporate small groups as part of their ongoing community. You are invited to drop in to any of them!
Sundays year-round at 7pm at 700B Santa Cruz Ave. Sanctuary is a gathering of Bay Area young adults (ages 18–35) where you can worship, get connected with people in your life stage, get equipped through teaching and discover places to serve locally and globally. We are a community of singles in our mid-30’s to mid-50’s. We meet weekly on Thursday evenings to hear guest speakers, have fellowship and enjoy social activities. Join our email list for more information about speakers and activities.

We are a community of women seeking to grow in our faith through the development of fellowship, prayer, teaching and mission outreach. We seek authenticity in our relationships with one another and with Jesus, sharing life lessons and supporting each other as we navigate the journey of one of God’s most important roles for us, motherhood.

New Life Singles is a diverse, dynamic Christ-centered group of singles ages 55+. Our mission is to attract, equip and engage those of our generation in meeting our unique spiritual, physical, recreational and relational needs. We enjoy a variety of activities all in the context of Christian community. Our class times feature DVD series, special speakers and panel discussions.

Our group, made up of Christian men and seekers of the faith, has met every week for over 40 years, and has been a source of strength, encouragement, inspiration and support to many men from our community. We start with a talk from one of our pastoral staff or an experienced teacher. We move each week through a section of scripture, followed by prayer requests and prayer time. We are an intentional fellowship of single and married adults of varied ages and backgrounds who meet for discussion-based, in-depth scripture study and wrestle with what it means to embody Christ’s character in how we work and live. You can find many of us at the 9:32am Cafe service. Outside of Sundays, class members meet throughout the week for various other activities, including small groups, Yosemite trips, opportunities to serve others, and dinner groups to foster deeper spiritual friendships.

We are a group for seriously dating, engaged or married couples in their 20’s and 30’s that is focused on developing Christ-centered marriages by learning from scripture, from other Christian couples, through discipleship training, and by serving our community. In addition to our Sunday morning class, many of us are involved in weekly small groups, service projects and we regularly plan social activities! Life classes are opportunities for our congregation to be equipped in a specific area of spiritual growth.

We run this class for dating, engaged, or newly married couples. We address significant marriage topics from a Christ-centered perspective. Connect with other couples and learn more about each other! This six-series workshop provides a springboard for nurturing marriages at all ages and stages, and is offered twice a year, in the fall and winter. Curriculum helps couples celebrate their relationship strengths and identify their growth areas…in a fun and non-threatening way. Topics include communication, conflict resolution, intimacy, roles and finances. Space is limited and couples need to be able to commit to ALL sessions. Childcare provided. Join Bible Study Fellowship (September-May) for a brand new study. This in-depth Bible study program will help you unpack Scripture and relate it to your daily life. As you engage in God’s Word, supported by small group discussion and other resources, you will grow closer to Jesus and experience true spiritual transformation. This study is intended for all levels of Bible knowledge and is open to men and children (grades 1-12). Mandarin group available.
