A letter from our NAC Chair
Earlier this year, we requested nominations from staff leadership and congregants, recommendations for people with servant hearts and spiritual maturity to serve on various church-wide committees as volunteer leaders. One of the roles in this season is to serve on the Nominating Advisory Committee (NAC). I am pleased to introduce this year’s NAC members below, your friends and fellow congregants. We have already been working on the elder recommendation process.
Several weeks ago, we collected elder nominations via a submission form. We combined the list of these names with the ones we received this spring, nominees were congratulated, and NAC has been following up with initial calls. The next step is conducting interviews. NAC will then discern and discuss, praying over each of the candidates, and God will grant our prayers for three faithful new leaders to serve on Session. Finally, at the Annual Congregation Meeting, we will invite our covenant partners to vote on the incoming elders.
Betsy Phillips, NAC Chair
