Did you know we have an active Kids Ministry?
For details, choose a campus, then go to Connect > Kids.
Many studies have shown that serving is one of THE most powerful catalysts to a person’s spiritual growth, so we encourage everyone to jump in! Training and support are provided, so don’t worry too much about where to start – choose a team/opportunity that sounds interesting and see how God meets you there.
Service in the church involves opportunities to welcome, equip and encourage people as they take a next step in their relationship with Jesus through a local church family.
Service in the community involves organized events to help our local neighbors. These events are collectively called “Serve Your City.”
Service in the world involves support for those who live beyond the San Francisco Bay Area, partnering with people and organizations who are already involved in the day-to-day work that is needed.
Every serving opportunity is different, so the ones that fit you best will be the ones where you can be present! Use our Opportunity Finder tool to find an option that works for you.
No problem! We realize that not every opportunity is right for every person. We're committed to helping you find the place that best utilizes the gifts God has given you.
God has uniquely gifted each of us to serve. There's a spot for you and we want to help you find it. Whether it's in the church, in the community, or in the world, we want to help you find a place to serve!
Every Menlo Church campus has volunteers serving in the following ministries:
Middle & High School Ministries
Worship & Tech Support
Life Groups & Care Ministries
To get started, contact your campus staff to learn about your campus’ needs and discuss where you are interested and available to contribute. Signing up will include an online application, along with a background check. We do this for the safety of our whole church, primarily our kids and students.
The Bay Area has several effective organizations whose sole purpose is to help vulnerable populations. Examples include those experiencing homelessness, educational and social inequities, or human trafficking. Menlo Church partners with these local heroes through volunteer hours and sometimes financial support.
To get involved, contact your campus staff or select the Area “In my community” through the Opportunities finder above.
In 2010, Menlo Church began an annual weekend of service, where we partnered with dozens of local community organizations to be Jesus’s “hands and feet” for our neighbors. The results were so compelling that we have moved to organizing these opportunities at least three times a year.
Around the world, there are individuals and organizations who are responding to God’s call to love our neighbors. Menlo Church partners with these amazing people in four areas:
Support for Christian discipleship & church planting
Empowerment of schools & education systems
Pursuit of justice & restoration
Provision of relief & sustainable development
To get involved, contact your campus staff or select the Area ”In the world” through the Opportunities Finder above.
Organizations who share Menlo Church’s values are identified and asked to go through an application and review process by our Mission staff.
