If you are looking for a place that practices full inclusion for all ages, we hope you will join us!
In our Disability and Inclusion Ministry, we provide 1:1 and breakout room supports at our Menlo Park, Mountain View, and San Jose campuses. For those who need extra support but don't require 1:1 or breakout room supports, we also provide accommodations at our San Mateo and Saratoga campuses.
Read on to learn more about how we partner with you and to find out how you can connect with others in the community.
Through breakout rooms, buddy supports, training for small group leaders, and adaptive equipment, we work with families and volunteers to identify the best way for a child to participate alongside their peers. We partner with you to identify how we can best meet your child’s spiritual needs at church and help equip you with ways to meet those needs at home. Please fill out our Intake Form so we can make sure your child or student has the support they need to fully participate in our programs.Intake Form
We provide support for individuals with disabilities, as well as for anyone who needs additional accommodations to fully participate in the life of the church. We believe our church is better and richer for you being here, and we work with you to identify and implement specific supports. Please fill out our Information Form or email Christine at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.Information Form
Menlo is a vibrant and active community that has numerous events for all ages throughout the year. If you would like to participate and need additional accommodations, please reach out and let us know so we can help you have the best experience possible. Contact Christine at email@example.com for more information.
Integrated Life Groups
Because doing life together is vital to everyone’s physical, emotional, and spiritual health, we provide integrated Life Groups for individuals with disabilities or those who need additional accommodations. If you are interested and need assistance finding one, email Christine at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Specialized Life Groups
Sometimes you just want to be in a place where everyone “gets you.” We provide specialized Life Groups so people in the same place or life circumstances can easily find each other. Currently, we offer an Adult Autistics Group, as well as a group for adults with intellectual challenges. Both meet on Zoom. We are also open to launching new groups. If you are interested in joining a group, are looking for a specific Life Group, or want to start a group, email Christine at email@example.com.
