SLT: Student Leadership Team
Are you a high school student that wants to get more involved? SLT is a leadership team made up of current high school students that serve the Student Ministry at their Menlo Church campus. Menlo Students values spiritual and leadership development in the lives of our students and strives to accomplish this through learning, serving, community and mentoring opportunities. To take this next step, please apply to be on the 2019-20 Student Leadership Team. Apply below or text the word SLT to 650.600.7456
We believe the best place for connection and growth is in a Life Group. A Life Group is a small group of students who meet together weekly with one or two adult leaders. We match girls with girls and guys with guys by grade level.
Pizza? Movies? Games? It might sound like the recipe for a sleepover, but it’s actually the key ingredients of Bank Hang, the weekly after-school gathering for middle schoolers at the Menlo Park campus of Menlo Church. We open up our student center (at 900 Santa Cruz Ave, affectionately known as “The Bank”) every Wednesday from 2:30-4:00pm for any and all middle schoolers to hang out, eat pizza and other snacks, watch movies, play games, do homework, and generally have a safe space to enjoy each other’s company. *The Bank is also open most Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons for students to come do homework or spend time with other students and our staff. There are games and snacks available, but the movies and pizza are reserved for Wednesdays!
Serve with Students
Strong relationships with adults beyond their immediate family have been proven to have a lasting spiritual impact on teens. You can be one of them. Use our serving opportunity search tool to find the spot that's right for you.
