Easter Offering
Last fall, there were a series of natural disasters that wrought havoc in the U.S. and beyond – including fires in the North Bay and Southern California; hurricanes in Texas, Florida and the Caribbean; a 7.1 earthquake in Mexico, and massive monsoon flooding in south Asia. In response to the immediate needs, you (our congregation) gave over $370,000 above and beyond your regular giving to help– thank you.
Now that the emergency relief efforts have largely been addressed, the affected areas have moved into the slow process of rebuilding physical structures as well as the harder work of social and emotional restoration. This year, we will be giving the Easter offering to those who are involved with the long-term recovery efforts in the impacted areas – organizations who are on the ground to help and to heal.
