MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR THE BAY! 

Funds raised during Run for Hope will support five local nonprofit organizations who care for those impacted by the mental health crisis.

One Life Counseling Center, Redwood City
Provides mental health services to many who can’t afford services; as well as provides safety net services such as food, diapers, and backpacks to the community.  They  focus on immigrant populations where mental health services are difficult to afford. Ongoing volunteer opportunities available. 

NAMI (National Alliance on Mental illness) of Santa Clara
Supports education and advocacy for mental health. Their mission is to empower people living with mental health conditions through education and support. They serve consumers, families, and friends of people with severe mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic, and other severe and persistent mental illnesses that affect the brain.

The 1024 Movement
A community of people striving to equip, support, train, and provide community and mentorship to young people in order to unleash agents of hope in individual communities across the country. They serve young people struggling with anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts.

CHAC (Community Health Awareness Council), MT View
Offers many different kinds of mental health services and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, older adults  RFH funds will support 30 individual clients who are experiencing a crisis with ten 30 minute teletherapy sessions, or more if required after further evaluation. 

Christian Counseling Centers
Provides comprehensive and effective mental health services integrated with Christian beliefs and values. They serve children, adolescents, adults, and families seeking individual, couple, and family therapy.
