What is Alpha?
Alpha is designed for those who are questioning faith and the existence of God. You will watch videos and engage in conversations—and there is zero pressure. It is a judgement-free zone where you can freely and openly discuss your questions.
WHO IS ALPHA FOR?
Alpha is for teens and adults from all ages and stages of life who aren’t sure what they think about God. So, it’s for agnostics, atheists, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, or secularists. It is also great for people who are new to Christianity. That is, it’s for anyone who is curious about or critical of the Christian faith.
If you are solid in your faith and have accepted Jesus as your savior, Alpha probably isn’t for you. But we have other ways for to help you on your spiritual path! If you are looking to get more connected at Menlo Church, Starting Point is a great way to take the next step. We also have Bible studies, Life Groups, and ways for you to serve!Attend Starting Point
WHAT IS ALPHA LIKE?
At the heart of every Alpha Course is the opportunity to make friends and meet interesting people. During this current season of shelter In place, we're excited to make Alpha available online using Zoom. Each week we’ll watch a short video exploring questions such as “Is God Real?” “How Do I Pray?” and “Who is Jesus?” After the video, we'll break out into groups where you're invited to bring any and all thoughts, questions and perspectives.
