For the Bay 5K is a community event designed to unite runners of all ages in support of local youth initiatives.

Your registration fees and donations directly support Mobilize Love, which provides for physical and spiritual care, after-school support, and social-emotional learning (SEL) skills to under-resourced youth in the Bay Area. Your support makes a difference!

Mobilize love

Mobilize Love, a Menlo Church ministry partner, provides mobile after-school programs and human services to under-resourced communities.

Proceeds from this event benefit Mobilize Love. Each $16,000 raised covers after-school services for one semester in a resource-challenged school, including:

Literacy and numeracy skills development
Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)
Gospel introduction and sharing
Hot meals

Are strollers allowed in this race?

Single wide strollers are allowed. Please start at the back of the pack.

Are dogs allowed in this race?

Not allowed in most of Shoreline Park.

What if it rains?

The race goes on!

Are special race t-shirts included?

Provided to all registrants by March 2nd (subject to change). Extra shirts available for purchase ($15) during registration (March 2nd deadline).

Where does the race start and finish?

Kite Flying Area, Shoreline Park

Where should we park?

Free at Parking Lot E (off N. Shoreline Blvd.)

When do I pickup my t-shirt and race bib?

T shirt and bib pickup (select pickup location when registering):

4-7pm, Thursday, March 27th at Sports Basement, Redwood City
4-7pm, Friday, March 28th at Sports Basement, Sunnyvale

Can I both volunteer and race?

Yes! Register separately for each.
