Every story points to something. For many children, the flood story points to a fun and exciting adventure involving animals, a boat, and a big rainbow... what's not to love?! However, upon closer examination, the story is not that simple and is definitely not a children's story. As we look deeper into this story, we want to wrestle with three questions: "Is this a true story?" "What does this story tell us about God?" And "What does this story tell us about humanity?" With closer examination, we discover a story about a God who longs to redeem and restore His creation and invites us into this same story of redemption. Just like the flood story, our own stories and lives are pointing to something deeper. Every story points to something. What is that something in your story?
